The SEO analysis of Cleitext works like Yoast SEO: in the editor sidebar you see how the page will look on Google and two traffic lights, one for search engines and one for readers.

Start from the focus keyphrase
In the SEO fields, write the words people search to find the page. The SEO analysis then checks that they appear where they count: in the SEO title, in the first paragraph, in the address, in the description, in some subheadings and in the alternative text of an image.
The other SEO checks
- Keyphrase density between 0.5% and 3%
- A description of 120–156 characters and a title up to about 60
- At least 300 words, internal links and a link to a good source
- An alternative text on every image
Readability
The second light looks at sentences over 20 words, long paragraphs, subheadings, transition words and reading ease: Flesch in English, Flesch-Vacca in Italian. Short sentences and plain words help everyone, people and search engines alike.
Green is a guide, not a goal
The lights help you not to forget the basics, but people come first. A short news item can stay orange on length and be perfect. Use the advice that makes the text clearer: a subheading every few paragraphs, a first paragraph that says what the page is about, a link to a page that explains more. Search engines reward pages that answer a question well, and a clear page is also what readers want.
The analysis knows the language of each page, so an Italian translation is checked with Italian rules and an English page with English ones. Small words such as “the” or “di” are ignored when matching the keyphrase, and accents do not count.
The analysis follows each save. Your pages also get breadcrumbs, structured data and an XML sitemap: see how to submit it.
