Antispam: spam stays out, and nothing leaves your site

The new free Antispam plugin stops spam in comments, sign-ups and contact forms with checks that run only on your site: no outside service, no puzzles for your visitors, a spam folder you can review.

The best-known antispam services work by sending every comment, with the visitor’s address and email, to servers abroad, where they are checked. It works, but your visitors’ data leaves your site. We wanted the opposite: a filter just as effective that does everything at home.

The best of every antispam plugin

We studied the most used antispam plugins for WordPress and brought together what works best into Antispam, free in the catalog. It recognises bots by how they behave and by what they write, and gives every message a score.

  • A hidden field that only bots fill in, and a time check that also works on cached pages
  • Too many links, blocked words and addresses, alphabets your site does not use, the same text sent again and again
  • Comments, user sign-up, contact forms, and the forms of Fresco Pro and Prisma
  • With the Captcha plugin, a check only when a message looks suspicious

A spam folder that learns

Doubtful messages are not lost: they wait in a queue in your admin. One click delivers a good one, another deletes the rest, and every choice teaches the filter. The queue empties itself after 15 days, and simple statistics show what was stopped and why.

Respectful of your visitors

No outside service and no cookies. Addresses are kept only as anonymous fingerprints and deleted with the queue. Antispam works as soon as you turn it on, with no settings to fill in. And like every update of Cleitext, it is tested at every change.
