Cleishop: analytics, customers and one-tap payments

Cleishop now opens on an overview of your shop, has full sales reports and a customers list, and takes cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link right in your checkout.

Running a shop means answering two questions every day: how is it going, and how easy is it to buy? With Cleitext 0.94, Cleishop answers both. It is still free, with no fees on your sales.

Your shop at a glance

Cleishop now opens on an overview: sales of today, this week and this month compared with before, the orders waiting to be shipped, products running out, reviews to approve, and the revenue of the last 30 days on a chart. For a new shop there is a short list of what to set up first: products, payments, shipping, taxes and a test email.

The Cleishop overview

Sales reports, compared

Analytics has a report for each question: revenue, orders, products and variations, categories, coupons, taxes and stock. Pick a period, such as this month or last quarter, and compare it with the period before or with the same days a year ago: every number shows how much it went up or down.

  • Charts by day, week or month, in your site’s time zone
  • Refunds taken off on their day, so net sales are real
  • Every table sortable and downloadable as CSV

Who your customers are

The new Customers page puts registered customers and guests together, joined by their email: how many orders, how much they spent, their average order, when they last bought, where they live. Search and filter them, download the list, or open their orders with a click.

Pay in one tap

Card payments no longer send customers away: they type their card in Stripe’s secure form, inside your checkout. Even faster, the Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link buttons appear at the checkout, in the cart and on product pages. One tap, and the address and shipping come from the wallet; Cleishop works out your shipping rates and taxes for that address before the customer confirms. Link remembers the customer’s card and address on every shop that uses Stripe, so many people find themselves already signed in.

The money goes straight to your own Stripe account, with Stripe’s fees only, and card details never touch your site. Apple Pay needs your domain registered with Stripe: one button in Cleishop → Payments does it.

Update Cleitext and Cleishop from the admin: as always, every update is tested at every change and never breaks your site.
