Almost every website opens with a slider or a big hero picture. On WordPress the best-known slider plugins are either very simple or very powerful but hard to use, and often heavy on the page. We studied them closely and built Diorama: as easy as the simple ones, as rich as the powerful ones, and lighter than both.
Two ways in the same editor
In a hurry? Pick your photos, write a title, a line and a button for each, and the slider is done. Want it just right? Drag headings, texts, buttons, images and icons on the slide, and give each of them a different place on tablet and phone. Diorama is free in the catalog, with one slider per site.
- Ten ready-made templates: hero, restaurant, sale, reviews, portfolio, event and more
- Photos, colours, gradients and videos as backgrounds, with the slow Ken Burns zoom
- The latest blog posts as slides, by themselves
- A block, a Fresco widget and a shortcode
Fast and for everyone
A tiny script loads only where a slider is, pictures come in the right size for each screen, and the page never jumps while it loads. Keyboard, a pause button, screen readers and the “reduce motion” preference are respected from the start.
Diorama Pro: the show
Diorama Pro adds unlimited sliders, carousels with coverflow and 3D, popups that open at the right moment, a timeline you can drag, titles that write themselves letter by letter, parallax, 32 creative transitions and ten premium templates. From €49 a year, and if the license ends your sliders keep working as they are. And like every update of Cleitext, it is tested at every change.
