Many customers would rather send a message than fill in a form or make a call. A WhatsApp button on your website lets them write to you in one tap, from the app they already use every day. The new Click to Chat plugin brings it to Cleitext.

Based on Joinchat
Click to Chat is built on Joinchat by Creame, one of the most used WhatsApp plugins for WordPress, free software like Cleitext. Its button and its chat window work the same way here, with the settings, the page box and the blocks of Cleitext.
What it does
- A floating button in a corner of every page, in your colour, with a tooltip and an optional photo of who answers
- A chat window with your messages, written like on WhatsApp, that can open by itself after a few pages
- A message already written for the visitor, with the page they come from
- On computers, a QR code to continue on the phone, or WhatsApp Web
- Another number or another message on each page, or no button where it is not needed
A button block for your pages
Besides the floating button, the WhatsApp button block puts a button where you want it, for example under a product or in the contact page, with its own number and message and a QR code for computers. It is an ordinary link, so it works even when scripts are blocked.
Know how many people write to you
The Dashboard shows the clicks on WhatsApp per day, without keeping anything about visitors. If Google Analytics or Tag Manager are on the site, each click is also sent as a conversion. The plugin sets no cookies.
Click to Chat is free and open source. Install it from Plugins → Add New, write your number in Settings → Click to Chat, and the button appears on the site.
