Cleitext has had an AI chat in the admin and a way to build a site with an AI assistant for a while. Until now it only knew the block editor. Many sites, though, are built with Fresco, the page builder, or written in the Classic editor.
The right editor, every time
Chriss now reads which editor each page uses and writes in that format: blocks for block pages, the Fresco structure (containers, elements, colours and fonts of your site) for Fresco pages, sections and elements of Vitality Builder on Vitality sites, plain text for Classic. When it changes a page, the editor stays the same. New pages are created with the editor you choose per content type, in Settings → Writing.
It knows how a Cleitext page is made
- Pages you can still edit without code, with your theme’s styles and patterns
- Drafts first: you decide what gets published
- Excerpt, featured image and SEO fields filled in
- Translations linked to the original page
- “Ask Chriss” from the page you are editing: Chriss knows which page it is
For developers, plugins can now explain their own editor and add context and tools for the AI. And like everything in Cleitext, this release is tested at every change.
