Cleitext 0.80: Additional CSS, everywhere you need it

Additional CSS now comes along from WordPress, shows inside the block editor and has a real code editor with colours, line numbers and suggestions. Plugin blocks also show their icons in the editor.

With version 0.79 every theme got child themes and an Additional CSS box. Version 0.80 makes that box nicer to use and brings it wherever you work.

A real code editor

In Appearance → Customize, Additional CSS is now written in a code editor: colours for selectors, properties and values, line numbers, matching brackets and suggestions for CSS properties as you type. It follows the light or dark look of your admin, works with the keyboard and with screen readers, and loads only when you open the section, so the admin stays fast.

Inside the block editor too

The rules you write in Additional CSS now apply inside the block editor as well, only to the page you are editing, so what you see while writing is what visitors will see.

It comes along from WordPress

The WordPress Importer now brings the Additional CSS of your old site. It is added to what your site already has, never overwriting it, and importing again does not add it twice.

One click, nothing breaks

Update from the Updates page of your admin. Like every version, 0.80 is tested at every change, and updates never break your site.
