Forms — a contact form for your site

Free plugin

Let your visitors write to you

A contact form you add to any page in a moment. A guest asks about a room, a customer about an order: the message reaches your inbox and stays safe in the admin.

Already included in Cleitext: just turn it on.

Forms

What it does

Simple for you, simple for them

Name, email and message: the questions people expect, nothing more.

A block like any other

Add the Contact form block to the Contact page, the home page or under a post, wherever you want it.

Straight to your inbox

Each message is emailed to the address you choose. To answer, just press Reply.

Nothing gets lost

All messages are also kept in the admin, with the date and the page they came from.

Spam stays out

A hidden trap stops automatic spam, and whoever sends too many messages in a short time has to wait.

Privacy in order

Enter the address of your privacy policy and a short notice with the link appears under the form.

Your words

Choose the button text and the thank-you message, and ask for a phone number if it helps you.

A booking request written in the contact form of a B&B

On your site

The questions people expect

Name, email, phone if you want it, and the message. The form takes your theme’s look, works on every phone and thanks the visitor with your own words.

The messages received, in Messages in the admin

In the admin

Every message, in one place

Messages arrive in your inbox and stay in Messages, with the date, the form and the page they came from. Even if an email gets lost, the request is still there.

  • Reply with one click on the sender’s address
  • Delete a message when someone asks you to
Forms

For everyone

It works on every phone

The form is light and needs nothing special from the visitor’s browser: it is sent even on an old phone or a slow connection.

  • A clear message if a field is missing
  • Your thank-you message once it is sent
  • More forms on the site, each with its own name
  • Administrators and editors can read the messages

Get started

Ready in a few minutes

Turn it on

It comes with Cleitext: in Plugins → Installed Plugins, activate Forms.

Choose where messages go

In Settings → Forms, enter your email address. Leave it empty if you prefer to read them only in the admin.

Add the form to a page

Open a page, add the Contact form block and publish. The messages you receive are in Messages, in the admin menu.

Questions

What if the email doesn’t arrive?

The message is saved anyway: you always find it in Messages, in the admin.

Can I have different forms on different pages?

Yes. Give each one a name, like “Bookings” or “Info”: you see it in the subject of the email and in the list of messages.

Someone asked me to delete their data. How do I do it?

You can delete any message from Messages. With the Privacy & GDPR plugin, the messages sent from an email address are also included when you export or erase that person’s data.

Does it cost anything?

No. It comes with Cleitext, for free.

Goes well with

Plugins that work well together

Antispam

Keeps spam out of comments, sign-ups and forms with checks that run on your site only: a hidden field, a time check that works on cached pages, links, blocked words and addresses, foreign alphabets, repeated texts. A spam queue to review, and the Captcha plugin asked only when it is unsure. No outside service, IPs kept only as hashes.

Captcha

Stops spam and bots on every form with Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA: sign-in, sign-up, lost password, comments, contact forms, the shop's checkout and page builder forms. One place for the keys, trusted addresses and a failsafe.

Privacy & GDPR

Cookie banner following the Italian Garante's guidelines, scripts held until consent, consent log, privacy and cookie policies made of blocks, requests to export or erase personal data.
