Atelier — the artist portfolio theme

Free theme

Let the works speak

A quiet, gallery-like site: your name over a framed artwork, the works with year, technique and size, and the exhibitions in order.

Five ready palettes: Gold leaf, Burnt sienna, Ultramarine, Sage, Black and white.

Atelier

Made for artists

The parts of a good portfolio

Every part is an ordinary block with an Atelier class, so the site stays easy to change.

Framed opening

Your name in a translucent card overlapping a framed artwork.

Gallery of works

Each work with its title, then year, technique and size; the caption slides up on hover.

Exhibitions timeline

Exhibitions and awards on a thin gold line, year by year.

Biography and statement

Text in newspaper columns, a big initial and your statement large and centered.

Light and fast

No lightbox and no scripts: pictures open fast, also on phones.

Helps your AI assistant

The theme explains its styles to the AI assistants connected to your site, so they write pages that fit.

Other themes and plugins

Diorama

Sliders and hero sections, quick to make and light on your pages: pick your photos, write a title and a button, done; or place headings, texts, buttons, images and icons on the slide, with a layout for each device. Entrance effects, transitions, video backgrounds, Ken Burns, ten ready-made templates and the latest blog posts as slides. Accessible by default, responsive images, no layout shift, a tiny script only where a slider is. A block, a Fresco widget and a shortcode. One slider per site; Diorama Pro adds more.

Forms

A contact form block, included in Cleitext: messages are stored and emailed, with spam protection and a privacy notice.

Multilingual

Several languages on a site: translations of content, categories and menus, language addresses, hreflang and a language switcher for every theme. Free with the default language and one more, on one site; Multilingual Pro adds every language, every site, automatic translation and more.
