Many people who build websites learned with Elementor. Their hands know where things are: the panel on the left, the page on the right, the handle on top of a section, the + at the bottom of the page. With Fresco 2, our free page builder, those habits work in Cleitext too.
Full screen, like you expect
The editor now takes the whole window. On top, a dark bar with the menu, the page title, the devices and the Publish button with its drop-down. On the left, the panel with the elements in two columns, the search and your favourites. On the page, every section has its handle, every widget its little pencil, and you type text right where it appears.
- Structure window: the tree of the page, to drag, rename and hide elements
- History: every step listed, jump back to any of them, or bring back a revision
- Finder and keyboard shortcuts, the same ones your fingers remember
- Responsive mode with up to six breakpoints and a resizable page
- Site settings: global colors and fonts, theme style, identity, layout
And you start where you expect: browsing your site while signed in, the bar at the top of a Fresco page says Edit with Fresco. One click and you are in the editor, on that page.
The colours are Fresco’s own, and the whole editor speaks English and Italian, widget names included.
Your Elementor site, whole
The WordPress importer used to bring only the pages. Now it reads the whole site: the kit with global colors, fonts, breakpoints and theme style becomes Fresco’s site settings; page settings such as the full-width layout or a hidden title stay; animations, shadows, hover colours and background slideshows come along.
With Fresco Pro, Elementor Pro sites come across too: headers, footers, single and archive templates and popups with their display conditions, global widgets, dynamic content, custom CSS, code snippets and fonts.
Or plain blocks
Prefer to leave page builders behind? Layout Import 1.1, free, now turns Elementor pages into the editor’s own blocks too, as it already did with Enfold.
And nothing breaks
Fresco 2 is a big step, but the pages you already made look exactly the same: we checked them pixel by pixel on a site built with Fresco before releasing. Updates in Cleitext are tried before they are applied, and a plugin that needs a newer core simply waits for it instead of breaking your site.
