A website is more than its pages. There is the title Google shows, the English version of a page, the price of a product, the layout made with a page builder. Until now, Chriss wrote good pages but left these things to you. Now every plugin tells Chriss what it keeps and how it wants it, so you can ask for the whole job in plain words.
Search engines: SEO and Vetta SEO
With the SEO plugin or Vetta SEO, Chriss fills in the search title, the description and the keyword of each page, at the right length and in the page’s language, and uses the keyword where it counts: in the address, the first paragraph and a subheading. It leaves the delicate switches, such as hiding a page from Google, alone unless you ask.
Translations that stay together
With Multilingual, Chriss first looks for the versions a page already has. If the Italian one exists, it updates it instead of making a copy; if it is missing, it creates it linked to the original, with its own title, address and SEO fields, and links that point to pages in the same language. Pages made with a page builder keep their layout: only the words change.
Your shop: prices and stock
With Cleishop, Chriss writes product pages (name, description, short description, main picture) and sets the price, the sale price and the stock of simple products, in your shop’s currency. Ask “put the blue mug on sale at 9.90” and it is done. For variations, categories or shipping it tells you where to find them in Shop → Products, so nothing is changed by guesswork.
Pages built with Fresco
On sites that use Fresco, Chriss builds pages the way you would in the editor: containers, widgets, your site’s colours and fonts. With Fresco Pro it also knows the Pro widgets, such as forms, popups and loops of posts. The page opens in Fresco ready to touch up.
Pages built with Vitality Builder
The Vitality theme has its own builder, Vitality Builder. On Vitality sites Chriss writes pages in its format, with its sections, columns and elements, the theme’s colours and its layout templates. Every page is checked before it is saved, so it always opens cleanly in Vitality Builder.
Still you in charge
- Chriss only learns about the plugins that are active on your site
- It acts with your permissions: what you cannot change, it cannot change either
- New pages and translations are drafts until you publish them
- You can always open the page and change any word by hand
There is nothing to set up: update Cleitext and your plugins, and Chriss knows them. As always, every update is tested at every change and never breaks your site.
