Free plugin
Your emails, in the inbox.
Booking confirmations, contact forms, orders, password resets: the emails your site sends matter. With turboSMTP they leave from a service made for delivering them, and you can see what happened to each one.
Free plugin, you need a turboSMTP account. An integration made by Cleitext for the turboSMTP service, with the same logo as its WordPress plugin.

Why it matters
An email in spam is an email lost
Emails sent straight from a web server often end up in spam, or never arrive: the guest does not see the booking, the customer cannot reset the password. turboSMTP sends them for your site from servers with a good name, and tells you how it went.
Every email of the site
Password resets, Forms messages, Cleishop orders, Agenda bookings, comments: all of them go through turboSMTP, with nothing to change elsewhere.
Connected in a minute
Your turboSMTP email and password, or your API keys: the plugin checks them at once and shows the account it is connected to.
API or SMTP, Europe or not
turboSMTP’s API, fast and working even where SMTP ports are closed, or its SMTP servers, European or international.
See what happened
Sent, delivered, opened, clicked and bounced, day by day and message by message, right in the admin.
The site never goes quiet
If turboSMTP does not answer, the email still leaves the usual way, and the page tells you what went wrong.
Keys kept safe
Keys and SMTP password are stored encrypted. With email and password, the plugin creates the keys and does not keep the password.

Connection
Two ways in, both simple
Paste the Consumer Key and the Consumer Secret you create in turboSMTP → Settings → API keys, or just type the email and password of your turboSMTP account: the plugin makes the keys for you, named after your site.
- Checked with turboSMTP before anything is saved
- Your turboSMTP password is never stored
- Disconnect removes keys and passwords from the site

Sending
Choose the sender, send a test
Pick how the emails leave, by turboSMTP’s API or its SMTP servers, and who they come from: an address of a domain verified in turboSMTP and your site’s name. Then send a test email to yourself and check the inbox.
- One switch turns turboSMTP on or off
- A sender chosen by a form or another plugin stays as it is
- SMTP on ports 587, 465, 25 or 2525, on European or international servers

Statistics
Every email, followed to the end
turboSMTP → Statistics shows how many emails left, how many arrived, were opened or clicked, and which bounced, with a chart of the days you choose. Below, the messages one by one, with the reason when one did not arrive.
- Show only delivered, opened, clicked or bounced messages
- A guest says the confirmation never came? Look it up here
- More details a click away, in the turboSMTP dashboard

Questions
Do I need a turboSMTP account?
Yes: the plugin is free, the sending is done by turboSMTP with your account and its plans. If you do not have one yet, you can create it on turboSMTP’s website.
Is it made by turboSMTP?
No: it is an integration made by Cleitext for the turboSMTP service, modelled on turboSMTP’s own WordPress plugin and with the same logo, so you recognise it at once.
What if turboSMTP is down?
Your site keeps sending: if turboSMTP refuses an email or does not answer, the email leaves the usual way (your site’s SMTP or the server), and the turboSMTP page shows the last error.
API or SMTP: which one?
The API, unless you have a reason for SMTP: it is fast and works even on hosting that closes SMTP ports. Both send through your turboSMTP account.
Why does the plugin ask for permission when I activate it?
Because it sees every email of the site, password-reset links included. Cleitext asks you to confirm before giving a plugin that power: you decide.
Will an update break my emails?
No. Every version of turboSMTP is tested at every change before it reaches you, and Cleitext tries each update first and rolls it back if something goes wrong: updates never break your site.

Plugins that work well together
Forms
A contact form block, included in Cleitext: messages are stored and emailed, with spam protection and a privacy notice.
Cleishop
Sell from your site, free: a fast catalog for shop managers, cart and checkout, orders and emails, shipping zones, taxes, coupons, bank transfer, cash on delivery, Stripe and PayPal, reviews and the customer account.
Agenda
Online appointments, simple for you and your customers: a short wizard makes your booking page in two minutes. Customers pick a service, a day and a free time, on computer or phone, and get the confirmation by email with the calendar file, a reminder the day before and a link to cancel or move, no account needed. Never two bookings on the same place, groups with places, approval if you want it, an admin calendar by day, week or month, CSV export. Imports from Simply Schedule Appointments and Booking Calendar. Free up to 30 bookings in total (past and cancelled ones count, imported ones don't); Agenda Pro, coming soon, takes as many as you need.
NewLetter
Every subscriber, a new letter: signup forms for your newsletter, connected to the service you already use, Brevo, Mailchimp, MailerLite, Kit or ActiveCampaign. Paste the API key, test the connection, pick your lists, and put the form on any page as a block, a Fresco widget or a shortcode, in your theme's style; it works even without JavaScript, with double opt-in and Antispam or Captcha against bots. An unticked "Subscribe me" box in Forms contact forms, Cleishop's checkout and Agenda's bookings. Imports the forms of Mailchimp for WP, Brevo, The Newsletter Plugin and MailPoet from WordPress. Your server sends no mass email: the service does. Consent is recorded, and the log keeps no email address in clear.
Privacy & GDPR
